What is photography?

Phos, light.

Graphē, drawing or writing.

Photography is the scientific art of creating images by drawing or writing with light.

But what is photography really?

To me, the camera is the extension of the eye, the device that records, copies, and develops what the eye sees but cannot save or even adequately explain.

The camera doesn't always get the vision right. But, sometimes?

It develops perfectly.
